EV Charging

EV chargers allow you to charge up your car at home. A solar system can help to offset some of your charging costs too.

How it works
  • Most EV chargers can be set to charge when you want, and some provide smart charging too

  • Use excess solar or stored energy, but mostly you will be importing from the grid, choosing the best energy tariff to suit your demand

*Typically, economy 7 is around 7p per kWh which is more than twice a cheap as petrol at £1.50 per litre. This is cost of the fuel per kWh and does not account for the efficiency of the vehicle when consuming the fuel.
