Hi! I’m Chris, I'm the Chief of Everything (Green Energy)!

I started Everything Green Energy in 2025. I was looking for a company to install solar at my home, but I was finding it incredibly difficult. After a series of unsatisfactory quotes I thought there had to be a better way. This is when I decided to start the business, and my first project was to install solar on my roof.

About us

My aim is to make solar renewable tech simple and easy to buy and to make it as accessible to as many people as possible. Personally speaking, I love having it, it gives me a lot of satisfaction knowing that ‘free’ energy is being fed into our house. I check my app everyday.

In the process of putting solar on my roof I got first hand experience of how challenging and complex the regulatory requirements are and the lack of clarity about how to implement the rules. It explains why I was finding it difficult to get quotes (some of them told me I could only have 5 panels on my roof). As a civil engineer I knew that it was technically possible to put more panels on my roof. After a lot of research I found a a suitable manufacturer and a safe and secure way to fit all 10 panels on my roof, in compliance with the building regulations to maximise the solar potential of my roof.

As I write this, the business is now taking its first steps, with our awesome installation team led by Matt and Sam, we are fully certified by MCS and have signed up our first customers. I have also been working with some incredible people to help me get started - many thanks to them too. I have great hopes for the business, its fun setting it up and I’m really excited by it. Renewable energy that reduces our impact on the earth and the engineering behind really motivates me.
