Job Vacancies

Marketing Coordinator

22nd October 2026

About us

Everything Green Energy is a Winchester-based installer of solar panels, home batteries and EV chargers. We are MCS and NICEIC certified, and known for well-designed systems and careful installs across Hampshire.

We are looking for energetic and passionate people to help us build a steady flow of new customers. You'll be our tenacious partner, owning and driving the plan.

This is a flexible role. The description below sets out what we need delivered, not how it must be done. If you have a proposal for how you would deliver it, we're open to creative suggestions.

At a glance

  • It's about: marketing that directly helps the business to grow.

  • It's not: sales or lead generation (direct sales).

  • Part time: between 8 and 24 hours per week, depending on the candidate.

  • How: individual, job share or your suggestion.

  • What we like: positive energy.

  • Location: local to Winchester, mainly from home, with some local visits and events.

  • Basis: self-employed.

  • Start: November 2026.

What we need

Ownership of the day-to-day marketing operations.

  • It's not complicated: we are building our marketing foundations. Our core message is to build trust that converts into leads and sales.

  • Creative ideas and a realistic plan: work in a creative way, with new angles and techniques, underpinned by a realistic and deliverable plan.

  • Execute the plan: deliver results month by month, measure the impact and show the results.

  • Make evidence-based decisions: weigh up options, recommend where to spend, and back it up with the numbers and a case.

  • Quick and nimble: planning is good, but getting results fast is key to success. A balance of tactical and strategic initiatives, based on what the business needs.

  • Develop our service and product offer: we have a range of services and products our customers want. Shape them into clear, compelling offers.

  • Expand our marketing collateral: build a library of case studies, testimonials, photos, videos, leaflets and brochures we can use at every stage, from first contact to handover.

  • Build campaigns: referral schemes, ad campaigns, partnerships and local events, plus your own ideas.

  • Develop marketing systems and capabilities: the tools, processes and tracking to generate and measure results.

  • Own outsourced suppliers: graphic designers, photographers, copywriters and PR.

The qualities were looking for:

  • Suits someone who has worked in or wants to work in an entrepreneurial or start-up environment.

  • Keen to push themselves, learn, grow and build knowledge across professional disciplines.

  • Brings expertise and energy to build our marketing foundations.

  • Can quickly establish themselves and make things happen quickly.

  • Sees limited resources as a challenge rather than a constraint.

  • Self-confidence and good judgement: knows when to run with it, and when to stop and ask for help.

  • Understands and interprets technical and commercial information, and makes connections.

  • Works with and manages others, building productive relationships.

  • Conveys the business's requirements clearly to partners and suppliers.

  • Organised, manages their own time and is self-reliant.

  • A good commercial mindset.

  • Self-aware and open to feedback.

  • Local to Winchester and comfortable with everyday tools: email, calendars, Canva, spreadsheets.

It would be good, but not essential, if you:

  • Are familiar with renewable technology

  • Have digital marketing knowledge and experience

  • Can drive and have your own car

Work arrangements

  • Self-employed

  • Part time: we're thinking around 16 hours a week to start, but happy to discuss

  • Rate: £15 to £20 per hour

  • Flexible: you decide how and when the work gets done. We're thinking four half days a week, but let's discuss.

  • Individual or job share: let us know your preference, or propose something

  • Equipment: your own laptop and phone. We provide an email address and access to the tools to do the job

  • How long: To start with up to 3 months.
